Appetizers
Originating in France, this gourmet appetizer consists of a wheel of double cream French brie topped with our unique recipe of Portobello mushroom & Porcini mushroom simmered in an exquisite burgundy wine & shallot sauce. Then we wrap it all in a buttery, flaky puff pastry. To prepare this hors d'oeuvre, bake the Brie en Croute in the oven until the puff pastry turns a rich golden brown. Insert a skewer into the Brie en Croute to make sure the center is hot. Once ready, cut a slice and watch the rich and creamy brie flow out. To serve, use a knife to scoop some brie and mushrooms onto a slice of our freshly baked warm French baguette. Then sit back and watch your guests oooh and aaahhh and mmmmm. There simply aren't any words to describe this intensely delicious gourmet appetizer delicacy.Vegetarian.
